History |
Entrepreneur Ann
F. O’Neal, an experienced consultant, project
manager, programmer and analyst, founded ICI in 1993
and quickly established the company as a respected J.
D. Edwards & Co. Implementation Support Partner.
ICI grew steadily over the next
decade, specializing in understanding its clients’ business
needs, focusing on their long-range plans and goals, and
then adapting and/or customizing solutions that boost the
bottom line. Through expert service, ICI came into its
own, implementing, integrating and supporting all aspects
of J. D. Edwards enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
solutions, most notably its World and OneWorld offerings,
for a growing number of satisfied
customers. Much of our business comes from customer
referrals – testimony
to the solid, long-term relationships we build with our
clients.

Oracle Service Provider and Partner Network Member |
In February 2005,
ICI joined the Oracle PartnerNetwork
(OPN) program, just after Oracle purchased PeopleSoft in
December 2004. Oracle is already the No. 1 maker of computer
databases— powerful programs that store huge amounts
of information. The PeopleSoft acquisition also will make
Oracle a major player in applications, or programs that
run on top of a database to handle business tasks. Oracle
Annual sales: $10.2 billion in fiscal 2004, Annual profit:
$2.7 billion in fiscal 2004, Total employees: 42,600
Oracle takes pride in providing “the most flexible,
adaptable enterprise software.” Supporting those
attributes, ICI’s seasoned consultants today help
JD Edwards customers derive the full benefits of their
ERP solutions and the array of flexible, adaptable new
enhancements that Oracle is rapidly rolling out.

Our People and
Geographic Coverage |

who quickly become integral members of the customer’s
project team, providing guidance and engineering solutions.
They average more than 15 years of experience each in business
management, finance, accounting and systems, specializing
in ERP software development and implementation. Among our
consultants are two MBAs, two CPAs, three with international
business experience, and three who speak languages in addition
to English.
Based in New Jersey, ICI serves customers throughout the
northeastern United States, from Maine to Virginia. The company's primary
operations are in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New
Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
To meet the special needs of multinational
and global customers, it’s not unusual for our consultants
to travel to customer locations around the world.

Our Collaborative Approach |
Equally skilled in business best
practices and leading-edge technology, our consultants
undertake each project as a collaborative effort with the
customer’s project team. Depending on available in-house
resources, the effort might involve minimal consulting
assistance or the full range of ICI’s comprehensive
services .
Our customers run the gamut from
small businesses, with revenues of $100 million or less,
to members of the Fortune 500. Regardless of company size,
ICI’s approach to client service is the same. It
begins with an evaluation of the overall project and required
onsite resources, together with a detailed and thorough
analysis of the client’s overall business goals and
specific management and user requirements for the new software
application.
As soon as management approves the
resulting recommendations and proposed technical design,
programming begins. ICI tests code, then performs an integrated
test of the entire platform, making revisions as needed.
When integration is complete, the next step is thorough
system testing with the user community.
At the same time, we prepare a reference
manual, train users and transfers knowledge to the client’s
staff, all the while working with the project manager to
remain on time, within budget, and delivering regular progress
reports to management.
Once the application “goes
live,” we provide follow-up support, both technical
and business-related, as needed.
Whether a client needs a single
consultant for a day or a team for several months, ICI
is ready and able to help. Through partnerships with
IBM and other companies in the industry, we are able
to offer clients complete solutions, including hardware
and software. Among the many services ICI
offers are Configurable Network Computing (CNC), data
integrity balancing, post-installation support for non-ICI
implementations, and more.
